  Great coffee house vibe
  Brewed coffee is tasty and the tiramisu is a nice option if you are in the mood for something sweet.
  Staff is friendly and welcoming. I was by far the oldest dude here but did not feel out of place.
  Might get crowded at night. I'll have to come back to find out

  This place has really changed :(
  Used to be my go to for studying since they're 24/7, but the internet access is now limited to 2 hours per purchase. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, so I decided to try something different, went with the mango green tea and it was pretty bad. If you can imagine just smoking hookah and drinking tea combined, that was the taste.
  There was no way I could drink what I just paid for and it really felt like I just wasted money, asked to exchange the drink, which there was a charge and the replacement wasn't even ordered correctly.
  You can tell they lady didn't want to fix my drink again when I asked her why the iced coffee I ordered was a blended drink....
  The music is chill if you're trying to study, but it's way too loud. At least I know not to come back to this place to study even if the hours are convenient.

  I heard about madhouse probably 6 or so months ago & decided this would be a good spot in vegas to stop & get some caffeine on our drive to LA. we drove here from SLC on friday 9/13 & i was super impressed with the place! i ordered a large iced vanilla latte with oat milk, back home a large almost everywhere is a 24 oz. but this thing was a god damm 32 oz., which was actually perfect cuz more caffeine for the drive. my husband got a 24 oz. frappe with lavender, however they added whipped cream even though he had asked them not to.
  
  my drink was stupendous, i'm obsessed with oat milk & like NO WHERE in utah has it i swear, so this was a real treat. my husband would've liked his more had it not had whipped cream. the food was just okay, i had the vegan bowl & he had the vegan pesto gnocchi. it was pretty overpriced so i don't think i'd get an entree from them again, but will definitely be back next time we're in vegas for coffee. the staff was great & i enjoyed all the decor & overall vibe. they have a lot of anti-trump, anti-cop & what some would consider "vulgar" decor/themes (like their wifi is "trump is a c*nt") so if trump is your guy this place is probably not for you- i've seen a lot of reviews where people complain about it, but honestly- it's their store & they have a right to put up/say whatever they want. if you can look past it & enjoy their coffee, great. if not, also great- more oat milk for mami!

  One of my favorite coffee houses in Vegas. It's a modern hipster vibe. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options to choose from. Located on the corner of Durango and Deseret Inn.
  
  They have a comical menu names that make it fun
  
  I always get the Monkey Mocha and try a new menu item each time. I like how simple the menu is but yet as a lot of flavor. Sometimes cafes get to fancy and you have no idea what you are ordering
  
  There is art all around the cafe that you can buy. Usually they are political but tasteful.
  If you aren't "hipster" don't worry. Everyone is really nice and welcoming. All types of people come here. You people reading books, to having keyboards hooked up to a Mac making music, people doing homework or just a quick in an out. It's a fun hang out area and Has a small patio outside as well.
  
  Wish they would open more locations up around the valley but I always stop by when I am in the area.

  Right on Desert Inn, I made a visit at Madhouse Coffee just to cool down for awhile and order a drink. This is a casual and hip environment. I can't help but noticed the monkeys in suits and a dolly of a naked trump, haha. It made me feel like I'm in someone's dormitory. The atmosphere does feel laid back and this place gets a little more lively closer to 6. I love the music variety. They were playing hit songs like Billie Jean, Get Down On It, and there's a bit of jazz.
  
  It's a small coffeehouse and finding a place to sit can be tricky. If it's available, they have a couple of small tables, there's also a window seating, and a counter seating. If you're getting something for to-go, they have a bench seating for you while you wait for your order. They also have one large table with cool swiveled chairs that can seat up to 8 people. This table is wide enough to have space for your laptop and do some work.
  
  From hot and cold drinks, they also have a menu for snacks and hot food. I was in the mood for something light. I placed my order to dine in, but they had mistakenly delivered the food to my table in a to-go box. The person had offered to plate it and was very accommodating and polite. I had the Avocado Toast ($10.95), it's two sourdough bread topped with fresh sliced avocados, a calabrian red hot chili paste, and black pepper. Avocado is perfectly ripe and has no blemishes, it taste great with the mild chili paste, but it would be nice to have the bread toasted.
  
  For drink, I tried the Japanese Matcha Blended Green Tea with no foam ($7.00), it is nicely sweetened but nothing really special. I've actually had better matcha elsewhere. And they have a dessert case with an assortment of pastry and sweet treats. I got the Croissant Bread Pudding ($4.50) which is drizzled generously with chocolate syrup and sprinkled with powdered sugar. It was like a sponge bread cake, it taste soft and not overly sweet.
  
  Overall, this is a good place to have a small group meeting, they offer free wifi, it's a cool hangout to pass time with friends and just relax. I would come here again simply because the service is friendly. My only concern is the price. On the takeout menu, it showed $7.99 for an Avocado Toast and I was charged $10.95. Not sure why the food cost is so steep for an avocado on bread.
